Poster campaign for SHABIK a social networking service in KSA
SHABIK was launching a mobile social network for users in Saudi Arabia. They would connect to its messaging service, download ringtones and play games. The brief was to attract that base and get people to download the app.
Our approach
So we developed everything from the SHABIK logo to the posters. The logo’s four colours represented the four categories of service available to the audience. Music, games, messaging and chat. We were inspired by the pixel, the core of digital entertainment while designing the logo. The four connected lozenges. The Lozenges also became the centre of each of the four posters that communicated each service individually. Each Icon inside the Lozenges represented one service, and the wave of objects flowing around each icon expressed the richness of content inside SHABIK.
